JS Football – Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings and Payment
All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance through the JS Football booking system. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 2 hours before the session will be accepted without penalty.
Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled session time will result in the full session fee being charged. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.
3. JS Football Cancellations (Weather / Emergency)
JS Football reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather conditions, unsafe playing environments, venue closures, illness, or unforeseen emergencies.
In these cases, clients will be offered either:
A full refund or a rescheduled session at a mutually agreed time.
4. Travel Fee Policy
Certain locations (including Ballarat and other regional areas) may incur an additional travel fee, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
Travel fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
5. Late Arrival Policy
If a participant arrives late, the session will still finish at the originally scheduled time. No additional time will be added to compensate for late arrival.
6. Minimum Player Numbers (Group Sessions)
Group sessions require a minimum number of 3 participants to proceed. If the minimum number is not met, JS Football reserves the right to:
Reschedule the session, or
Offer an alternative session type, or
Provide a refund where appropriate.
7. Force Majeure
JS Football is not liable for failure to perform services due to events outside reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or emergencies.
In such cases, sessions may be rescheduled or refunded at JS Football’s discretion.
8. Recording Consent
By attending JS Football sessions, clients and/or guardians consent to photo and video recording for coaching, performance analysis, and promotional purposes.
If a participant does not wish to be recorded, written notice must be provided prior to the session.
9. Medical Conditions and Responsibility
Participants must disclose any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or limitations prior to participation. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the participant is physically fit to train.
10. Assumption of Risk and Injury Disclaimer
By participating in JS Football sessions, clients acknowledge that football training is a physical activity that carries inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to sprains, strains, collisions, falls, and serious injury.
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JS Football, its coach(es), and representatives accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in training sessions, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
All participants must have appropriate personal insurance where desired, as JS Football’s public liability insurance does not cover personal medical expenses or individual accident costs.
11. No-Show Policy & Session Forfeiture
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. The full session fee will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be issued under any circumstances.
12. Emergency Termination of Session
JS Football reserves the right to immediately end or refuse participation in any session if a player’s behaviour, physical condition, or actions are deemed unsafe, disruptive, or placing themselves or others at risk.
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
13. Changes to Terms
JS Football reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
